“So as far as leadership and patriotism goes, I think it’s really important that those things have to take place. And I think he’s the best Democratic candidate we’ve had since Bill Clinton. And that’s coming from a Democrat.”

If you choose to support Toby because you enjoy his music, it’s your American freedom to do so. There still remains some level of liberty in this country, and I’m grateful for that.

I read your link from a 2008 interview. Perhaps he's smart enough not to tick off 1/2 of his fans. I didn't see any “dixie chick” type of remark from him....as for his being a democrat, I heard and saw him say in an interview he was registered independent...Since he said in that story that Obama is the best democrat since Clinton, I chuckled, since he is the only democrat since Clinton. His support of the military out weights a remark some journalist writes about him. The original article that started this thread was an AP article and we all know how much they love conservatives....to each his own.
