Perhaps the NC Gov. is right ... We don’t really need to have Congress or elections any longer!

You are correct.
What is the point of a Congress anyway?
We only need 3 members, we can fire the other 532 of them and all their staffers, think of the savings for the taxpayers.

In other words, the House controlled GOP is still too scared to shut the gov't down and not eliminate Obamacare! Time to completely shut down the Feds and let the States take care of whatever they want to take care of. (Which would screw me as I am on the verge of reaming taxpayers for Medicare and Social Security.)

I am not a “constitutional lawyer” and I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but on the surface I consider the “super committee” concept to be flagrantly unconstitutional....where is the Republican leadership on this? Crickets, as usual...:((

Yeah, and where does it come from? On a TV interview, I think from Detroit, a lady who was an Obama supporter was asked this question. Her response was something to the effect: “I don't know, from Obama’s ‘stash,’ I guess.”
Sickening! These idiots think the Government has money...

Even the corrupt Federal legislator(congress) has a quorum requirement of a majority. (Many States(including Texas) require much more honest(larger) quorum.)
So the simple answer is 3 congressmen do not constitute a Quorum.
To: GeronL
LOL. Ya know, I hadn’t even thought about the financial benefits, but you are right.
