Fox News Poll: GOP Race Top Tier Now Romney, Perry and Cain
Fox News ^ | September 28, 2011 | Dana Blanton

Three September debates have shaken-up the race for the Republican presidential nomination. Herman Cain has jumped into the top tier. Rick Perry’s stumbled. Mitt Romney's holding steady.

And Michele Bachmann is hitting bottom. That’s according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.

The new poll found Cain’s support has nearly tripled among GOP primary voters to 17 percent.

That’s up from 6 percent before this month’s debates, and puts him in what is essentially a three-way tie with Perry and Romney.

I have listened to Mr. Cain for a number of years on the radio. My greatest fear was that he wouldn’t be given an opportunity for voters to see and hear him. If he makes it to the top tier, they will know who he is and what he stands for. To know him... is to love him.

So when is the next debate/Perry drooling on himself while he insults large swaths of the electorate?

I am going to be sick when Romney gets the nomination because Perry and Cain split the conservative vote.

He’s already in the running. :)

Good to see a three man race with Cain in the three.

Herman Cain does not ‘talk down’ to people, nor does he woo voters with flowery promises of ‘Hope and Change,’ and other leftist campaign pap.

Herman Cain would never use the federal government to bankrupt American industry.

Herman Cain understands private enterprise. He HAS met payrolls and successfully managed multiple businesses.

Herman Cain would NEVER burden American taxpayers with a trillion-dollar stimulus plan.

Herman Cain would never promote job-killing regulations and higher taxes.

Herman Cain was a key player in defeating socialized medicine during the Clinton presidency.

Herman Cain would not make the closure of GITMO a major, or even minor, priority of his administration.

Herman Cain would never insist that terrorists caught on the battlefield be read their Miranda Rights and tried in civilian courts.

Herman Cain understands and respects the U.S. military.

Herman Cain is an American citizen and owns no baggage which challenges his eligibility to serve as President.
Herman Cain LOVES America!

Herman Cain MUST be on the Republican presidential ticket in 2012!

Tip of the hat to FReeper Coffee-drinker.

“Who are these people that keep pushing Romney? I swear that I know nobody that is for him, or would even vote for him.”

I talked to a buddy the other day that hasn’t been following the candidates and he said that he thought Romney would be a good president. A couple of minutes and a few facts and he changed his position and support.

He is now a Cain supporter.

Besides that, I don’t know anyone that is a Romney supporter and I see a lot of different people every day.

Cain inexperience won’t wear well in the spotlight. He’ll fall like Perry. We’re gonna be running out of “Anybody But Romneys”

Who’s next? Gingrich?

Rejoice conservatives you have Romney back in the lead in this poll. Abortion, gun control, made made global warming, and of course Romneycare, don't you love it. This Perry 10 years ago signed a law approved by 95% of the Texas legislature to give in state tuition to children of illegal immigrants who already graduated from Texas school.

Yep, the most critical issue of this election is about in state tuition for illegal immigrants.

Can we recycle Clinton’s famous words from his first debate with Bush 41? It’s the economy - stupid!

Oh no, according to many conservative it is about the in state tuition for illegal immigrant, depriving Jose from paying in state tuition far outweigh anything else so it is time for them to utterly crush Perry and have Romney the super liberal SOB as the party nominee.

Romney by the way is Obama dream opponent. Obama will run the campaign that liberals have been dreaming about for generations, he will run as "The fighter for the average man against the very rich greedy Wall Street Banker Romney".

Who are these people that keep pushing Romney?

Obviously,"they" are the Republican Establishment.  (The Republican Party has been controlled by Rockefeller globalists for at least the last 21 years.)  Mitt Romney is one of "them."

Hannity said tonight that he is having Perry and Romney going head to head on his Fox cable show tomorrow night (Thursday). So what if they are the two PERCEIVED front runners. I am sick of the news media tailoring our choice of who our options for president will be. Fox is as distasteful to me as CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN, especially Hannity for this kind of crap.
