All right; what’s a Thundershirt?
Its a stretchy velcro equipped shirt that fits snuggly and calms the dog by some unknown mechanism. Effect is thought to be achieved by concepts like accupressure.
Did you see the movie “Temple Grandin”? It’s really good I thought BTW.
She had severe autism and wound up getting her PHD in animal science. She invited a “machine”, among many other things, that squeezed her and calmed her because she couldn’t be hugged or touched by humans. The Thundershirt works like that on dogs.
