That is what you are saying, and in doing so you are also misrepresenting Cain’s position on the second amendment. Cain was perfectly in line with his core beliefs in saying that any gun control legislation should be done at the state level as long as it is within the confines of the Second Amendment.
Cain is an ardent supporter of States Rights and this position is perfectly aligned with that.

The states can not take away womens right to vote, nor the right of free speech, not can the states take away guns, nor can the states bring back slavery.
Also, if Cain is elected, then you can forget about National Reciprocity.
You can also forget about owning a gun in any state in the future which has a large number of Democrat voters because Cain will not interfere.
Lastly, the United States Supreme Court is just 1 judge away from determining that individual citizens are not allowed to own, possess, or carry guns.
