Bad idea to go after Romney on education. Texas isn’t exactly known to be strong on this issue.

Yes it bothers me , Perry will say anything and as an extension of that , do anything to win. I do not believe he has a set of principle that are non negotiable. The irony is , he is the same sleazy say and do anything politician that Romney is.

He is not attacking Romney on education but on his pandering and flip flops which Romney is notorius for.

Texas numbers are dragged down by the high % of hispanics.

Texas actually has developed a really good program to help struggling students and prevent them from falling behind. Instead of classifying students as special ed (they might have sp. ed, as well), Texas schools pull out students for tutoring as soon as they fail a single test. They go for tutoring every day until their test scores improve.

That sure beats anything that the Obama administration is advocating.
