Gist of write-up: Romney and Perry are at competing fundraisers this evening. The RINO is in New York picking up loads of cash from Zero's Wall Street donors who helped the Wee Wee get into office and now have buyers remorse. The Gov is in Dee Cee raking in dough from conservative southerners. All three sides (Rick, Slick and Obozo) have their spin machines kicked into overdrive.
I have the best chance of beating the Wee Wee because I am the one who best appeals to his supporters.
If you know nothing about mittens and all you have to work with is what comes out of his mouth, there is a reason he is raking in these supporters. He is telling everyone what they want to hear.
Now to be fair, some GOP candidates also raised mammoth amounts of cash, and we need to ask them, too: What, if anything, do their donors expect in return for their investments? We need to know this because our country cant afford more trillion-dollar thank you notes to campaign backers. It is an important question, and it cuts to the heart of our problem
You nailed it. Romney is bad news and is the selection of the media and GOP establishment.
So, no Republican candidate is supposed to hold fund raising among Wall Street people or rich people in the South?
I have to agree that Romney is telling everyone what they want to hear. I think he is Obama 2.0. I’ll take my chances with Perry.
Bravo!!!!!!!! SHe nailed it there, didn’t she?
The news media follows the big money candidates too, they’re also guilty.
But when the people choose, it’s Sarah and Herman Cain. Message, not money, is going to decide this election. Having said that, i’m going to support those two candidates (one as yet unannounced) so they can meet as many Americans as possible a give them their message.
