“Private Citizen” really is neither here nor there. She has been a “Public Figure” since she was Governer, and has never ceased being one.

In fact Mark Levin said a week or so ago that she has zero chance of getting anywhere with a defamation suit. I don’t think it’s zero, but it’s going to be really tough.

The kids may be a different story.

“In fact Mark Levin said a week or so ago that she has zero chance of getting anywhere with a defamation suit”

I know Levin is a big hero to some,, a veritable voice of God, but “getting anywhere” can mean a lot of things.
First,, Random House will have to spend a lot of money to defend theirself. (come to think of it, the way SHE used to have to)
Next,,Random House is in an industry thats on life support already. They need bad press like a hole in the head, especially since Random House was always a conservative publisher until recently. In the late 60s they were accused by the left of being in bed with the CIA. Nothing like a well publicized lawsuit to let everyone on our side know what crap they have become.
I didn’t know until this story that they are owned by Germans now. Germans,,, a little nazi on one hand, big Obama supporters on the other.
The things you find when you get your attention directed somewhere.
Another way to “get anywhere” is that other smaller publishers might pause and very carefully consider the consequences of knowingly publishing lies.
Last,,, the future president is letting them know they are on her radar screen. That can have unhappy consequences that are still unpredictable. Their lobbyists will love that.
So for Levin,, “get off the phone you big dope”
