Hey, I understand the “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington” shtick. It’s very appealing to think that the “Common Man” goes and puts the hurt on DC. It’s fantasy.

Give me a Republican Senate and almost any of the candidates and we’ll get some results. But don’t expect sweeping global change in government. That’s not how it works.

I don't think it is at all fantasy that some go to DC and get rolled over by and sell their souls to the corrupt machine and some don't....
