Of course, straw polls don’t mean much, as Michelle Bachmann found out after Iowa.

The Florida Presidency straw poll is not like the Ames Iowa straw poll. In Florida, each county selects a pre-determined number of delegates based on registered GOP voters (our county delegates were chosen by random drawing of applicants). Presidential candidates do not bus in voters and purchase tickets as in the Iowa straw poll.

To date, the Florida Presidency straw polls have been 100% accurate predicting the GOP nominee.

Do you believe them?

Heck, I wasn't there. Were you?

If not, why make the insinuation?

I said I'd heard such things. Haven't you?

That’s correct, in contradiction to what I have seen on hundreds of other threads from Palin supporters who say she’s certain to run because there’s no one she can support. We’ll see in the next few weeks whatever does turn out, though.

Everyone needs to get off the Palin for VP meme. She is either in it for POTUS or nothing. She can’t play second fiddle ever again.

I’ll second that.

Its nice not being tied too tightly to one candidate.

Thanksfully within 5 weeks there are states with legal guidelines, so we’ll know one way or another who’s in, and then it’ll focus down to “who’s out.” The conjecture on who’s destined to run, while natural and to be expected, is tiresome.

That’s good news. It’s time vet Cain now, though, because he did support Romney in 2008.

So, based on this, you believe Herman Cain will actually be the Republican nominee? Seriously?

Sarah Palin would NEVER take second place again. Why in the world would she. She will go for Prez or nothing at all. Same with Herman Cain. He said he wasn’t going for the second spot...it was first all the way. The best ticket in my mind is: Cain/Rubio 2012

Not one of those three is Herman Cain Dio. Herman has practical experience, he has the education, he actually has considerably more experience then Sarah and she would be the first to tell you that is true.

If Sarah doesn’t run and Bachmann falls by the wayside, Cain is my man. No way in hell will I support or vote for Romney and Perry seems to be stuck on stupid. Worse, he’s doubling down on it daily.

You have my mindset to a tee!...or you have me trained well... ; )

I said I'd heard such things

You're not clever. You're posting an insinuation based on week-old tripe from a source named Joe McGinnis.

It's a tawdry and unfunny joke. A poster on this thread just got banned for making the same insinuation...the difference between you and him is he spelled it out while you merely made the hint.

Cheap stuff.

No, why? Are you a bigot?

I like Sarah, but lets be honest. Wasilla had a population of about 5,000 people. Alaska has a population of only 710,000 people.

Herman Cain ran a large corporation with branches all over the US and he was president of the Regional Federal Reserve. He has a lot of experience, a degree in math and computer science.
