I don’t understand the idea that Sarah Palin would be a better candidate, much less have a great chance of winning, than Herman Cain.
Agree. I like Palin very much and will give her serious consideration if she gets in.
Whether she can win the nomination is up in the air. She has a lot of dedicated followers, but I do not know if that will be enough.
I like Cain as well. In some ways he has a better resume than she does. They sure would be a formidable team!
McCain/Palin didn’t quite make it.
Perhaps Palin/Cain or Cain/Palin will.
Herman Cain has a wonderful history, and strong conservative principles, but his pushing a total tax reform is not going to be a winner among the huge middle group of voters in our country.
It may be fabulous as a policy, but it cannot be debated during a national election campaign. It is a turn-off.
Steve Forbes also had great transformative ideas. Didn’t get him very far when he ran.
