I hope he can capitalize on this and push the media-driven Romney-Perry 'front runners' off the stage. He won't be taken seriously by the leftmedia and the GOP elites will sneer at his lack of political 'experience' but conservatives now have a viable candidate they can support. For me, I'll be happy to see the Romney/Perry duo pushed to the side because neither one is a conservative. Especially Mitt. This is a great day, even for those of us that may be hoping for Sarah Palin to enter the Republican primary race. Herman Cain is too good to dismiss and I hope he can keep his momentum going.
With a crappy economy, running a successful conservative no nonsense businessman would probably be a damn good idea.
Jim - Ditto everything you said.
I am/have been waiting for Palin. But I too need a back up candidate. And for the past 3-4 weeks it was Perry. But his performance at the debate ended that.
I always liked Cain, but I just thought he was a fringe candidate. But this win could give him some credibility and mojo.
I would be more than happy hitching my wagon to the Cain Train.
My answer to the question ‘who won the debate?’ is Palin won the debate.
Great to have you on board sir! :)
All aboard the Cain Train!
