I think it’s more than that. And I think Perry was on to something about the combination of “Newt/Cain” into one persona.

What helps Cain is he was the first to come out and articulate actual plans for getting the economy to turn-around (the 9/9/9 plan is easy and straightforward for voters to remember. It’s a great idea. It will be interesting to see what happens if Palin were to get in to see the argument between 9/9/9/ and 0% corporate rate.

I think what will happen is if Cain picks up steam, you’ll find more media reports about his health and them trying to scare voters that the cancer might come back.

Too bad Newt has so much baggage though, because he would creame Obama in a debate.

The 0% corporate rate might be revenue neutral or losing, but it will definitely create many more jobs here than a 9% corporate tax rate.
