New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is reconsidering his decision not to enter the 2012 presidential race and he says he will let top Republican donors know within days about his plans, Newsmax has learned. During the past few weeks, several leading Republican donors and fundraisers have been urging the popular Republican governor to reconsider his decision not to run and to enter the GOP primary. These Christie supporters note that significant GOP support has remained on the sidelines of the primary fight. Many leading fundraisers have yet to commit to any current primary contender, including frontrunners Rick Perry and Mitt Romney. Newsmax has learned that the effort to draft Christie culminated in a hush-hush powwow held in the past week with Christie and several notable Republican billionaires.

Referring that Chris is a conservative is common sense? Do you know anything about Christie? Do you know anything about conservatism?
LOL! Why not! LMAO! Now hopefully Ann(trying to hide my ears)Coulter will be happy!
Not gonna fly!
Rush's fault! :-)
I've never heard ANYBODY call Sarah Palin a RINO. She may be many things, but RINO isn't one of them.
On his very first day in office, Christie will assign himself his very own zip code.
When Christie goes camping, the bears hide THEIR food in the trees.
The last time Christie rested on a beach during a beachside vacation, 12 members of Greenpeace tried to push him back into the ocean.
I find Christie entertaining and he might be fun to have over for a bbq, but he doesn’t rise to presidential material... not to me.
BUT, I say the more the merrier. His sassiness might be fun to watch.
Perhaps he’d be willing to keep slow Joe on to play the part of Guggenheim.

Christie, Giuliani, Romney, Perry. And Palin.
This would be wonderful news for conservatives.
Just say NO!
New Jersey needs you.
Maybe we can get McCain to give it another go...make it a veritable RINO-fest.
The reason a Christie candidacy resonates with so many people is that we are just plain sick and tired of mealy-mouthed, pandering politicians who weigh every word with a view to the impact on their re-election.
Screw ‘em.
William Howard Taft weighed in at 332 pounds so Christie wouldn’t be the heaviest president.
LOL!
..just on his right side
Well, yeah. It’s all about the benjamins. They’re saying that if you go, we can promise you this much in your campaign fund, etc. It was the thing with Bush - when the establishment decided he was their guy, he got a war chest big enough to stamp out McCain who, though white headed and bald even back then, had a little more fire in the belly than he showed last time around. But you always have to remember the money in the background and that sometimes money trumps uhhh... uggghhhhh... uhhhhh... truth in politics.
He’s probably dieting as we type.
He’s my favorite RINO. Be that as it may let the establishment pubbies piss money away on this guy. He will crash and burn. I think the climate is such that even someone with RINO b.O. ( not to be confused with Ibama) will not pass this time.
Christie is more liberal than I would like, but I can at least support him. Romney is a non-starter for me, and now that Perry has been damaged beyond repair, Christie may be our last best chance to stop Willard.
Will you still consider doing two shows a night, depending on the gig? :)
EODGUY
And EXPENSIVE!
I’m pretty hard pressed to remember the last time he put in a full week.
