Mideast Quartet Calls for Peace Deal by End of Next Year

NEW YORK—Less than two hours after Israel and the Palestinians addressed the United Nations General Assembly, the Mideast Quartet proposed the parties agree to a timetable for peace talks, with a final deal is to be reached by the end of 2012 at the latest. According to a Quartet statement released by the UN, the Quartet—consisting of the UN, Russia, the United States and the European Union—calls on the parties to hold a “preparatory meeting” to agree on an approach to negotiations within one month.

Obama would rather put off America seeing the aftermath of his democracy peace and safety lies until after the election. Don’t want to scare the Jewish wing nuts off the suicide bomber’s jet before it can blow up.

No chance of peace in my or my great great grandkids life time. Until the world cuts the pali’s off they will continue to be an issue. However if turkey goes haywire and get’s its ass kicked by the jews, maybe the rest of the area will take a different direction.

To think that peace will be had by the end of 2012, when it hasn’t come in 40 years is a stupid idea.
