The GOP field is hard at work clearing themselves out and making room for the arrival of Gov Palin.

Looks like you might be correct. These bozos in the debates seem to be making an effort to look bad to conservatives. Could Perry have said anything more stupid? Maybe it’s all part of A Bigger Plan.

We have seen what happens when a candidate rolls in late to the party and misses the extra practice of 4 debates. They bomb because of that deficit. What makes us think Palin would do any better after missing 6 debates. I have a feeling that she is going to look wooden, rehearsed and out of sorts. Even Huntsman is looking coherent and smooth after a few goes at this. He still has bad ideas, but he is more confident in his stupidity.

I have not followed Palin's speeches that closely. Has she been forceful against current immigration policies and our failure to enforce existing immigration laws?

The GOP field is hard at work clearing themselves out and making room for the arrival of Gov Palin. Unlikely. Most Republicans INTEND to be Democrats lite.
