Catching up on this thread today, and wanted to comment.

I went to Texas A&M along with Perry. I now live in California, and have a son who is a senior in high school.

It irks me that we would have to pay out-of-state tuition for him, and an illegal alien would not.

It also irks me that an illegal alien would get admission preference.

Geez, he’s a legal American citizen.

You say you now live in CA with a H.S. student. So he would qualify for CA's residency tuition. Or, your son could move back to TX, get a driver's license, live there a year, and then qualify in TX.

You see, it is a residency requirement that you forfeited when you moved.
