I’m a resident of Missouri and a US citizen. Texas has no obligation to allow me in-state tuition. There are a dozen states with the same type policy...they are trying to solve a problem that the Federal government has allowed to grow.

I'm a native Texan and I feel I shouldn't have to offer in-state tuition to those here illegally. IMO that's not how you "repair" the problem the "Fed gov't has allowed to grow".

Again, it's a "rewards program" for breaking the law. I'd rather allow in-state tuition to a US citizen before offering it to someone here illegally.
