Her chosen public response to being asked, given that her chosen time to announce is as late as possible, is to say "I'm still deciding". But, in fact, she knows and has known for quite awhile. And her chosen time to announce is as late as possible to maximize her chance, based on her view and i'd imagine the view of her confidants, of gaining the nomination. I'm inclined to agree... she gains nothing in participating in answering inane questions in inane debates, and has plenty of name recognition unlike Perry. Probably figures once gettin' in, the necessary money will flow as well.
It probably is a good strategy - it worked for Reagan.
I wonder if any more will drop out, besides Pawlenty, BEFORE she decides/declares.
If she can't handle the debates then forget about it! What would people say if Perry or Mitt or Obama skipped the debates?
Yes. It is called strategy. Nothing so unnerves the enemy as deception and unpredictability. Nothing is more important to victory. Napoleon, Hannibal, Ulysses S. Grant, Norman Schwarzkopf and others used the technique masterfully.
I haven’t noticed any Republican debate being “inane,” have you?
