Wisconsin’s victory is a good one. It shows every other state choked by union thugs how to destroy them. The blueprint is there. All states need do is copy Wisconsin’s example. Gov. Walker is a 21st century warrior.

"We've chosen to use our resources to organize our members and advocate for our members."

In other words, "We know we're going down but want to preserve our cushy union positions as long as possible".

If we could say the same in California.

Maybe I do not really understand this, but it seems to be HUGH, SERIES, and GOOD. ?? Yes?

The word is serious not series. Series designates an orderly assignment of "articles" based upon some definite criteria such as numeric order.

And the other word is huge, not Hugh. Hugh is a name such as in Hugh Hefner, huge denotes a large or massive attribute of something such as the satellite falling to Earth right now is huge.

To win the recertification election, unions must get 51% of the vote of all the members of their bargaining unit, not just the ones who take the time to cast ballots - a much higher bar than state elected officials have to clear to win their offices.

It is obvious where the author of this article stands on the issue. So much for so-called journalism.

Absolutely....government workers union power in WI has been effectively broken...

Next step: police and fire unions, and/or full right-to-work.

It will mean that unions in other states would have to subsidize WI Dems in order for the Dems to maintain campaign funding levels in WI.

You can’t imagine the feeling here in WI. We got one monkey off our back. We were double wammied. It’s such a relief. WI is a good state, we were saddled with the liberal label, but we were weren’t liberal. The fringe ruled this state, and they’re lashing out because we finally kicked their butts out of power.

It’s annoying, but, we’re going to kick them out for good. Thank God! Obama has a hard on for our state, everything he’s doing in this state is Chicago, and it’s failing. The choo-choo train failed, and Walker is his target.

Scott Walker has been a local icon, now he’s national. Everything he’s doing, he’s been trying in Milwaukee county, another liberal stronghold. He never once raised taxes in that county over 8 years. We knew who we voted for. Thank God for Scott Walker! He’s our hero!

The big problem is that I’m waiting for Diana in Wisconsin to send me 5 lbs. of Milwaukee kielbasa from the European Sausage Shop on Muskego Ave. in Milwaukee. So far, no sausage for me. That makes me sad.

And a jar of Polish horseradish would be nice.

( Just foolin’ with you people.) :-)

You are joking, right? Those two words were purposely misspelled in deference to Freepers (and their mistakes) from the past.

They scream about the Democratic process until they have to live or die by it.

They have also lost the no bid union run health plan scam that they were running. Fewer dollars there also.

Formally it was written into some of the school contracts that they use the union health insurance. Competition saved schools millions and balanced their budgets.

Are you series?

You can't be series.

"Series" is a series tradition here.

Series-ly.
