It's like having a party with mismatched guests.... I hope that in ten years we will say: “What was that all about?”...
I’ve been watching it today. Anything on the Right or critical of the Left seems to somehow end up as an also-ran, even if I have the author marked as important.
Facebook is not for everyone.
But I love it, as do millions of others.
If anyone using Facebook thinks they are ‘anonymous’, they should go and type their last name here:

I should also add that nothing is ‘private’ no matter what Facebook tells you,.
It’s just a tool to me. As long as it retains some useful aspects and allows me to talk to the people I want to talk to, I’ll use it and tune out the dross.
I have to admit that I have a FB page for keeping track of misc relatives. I keep it pretty content free and avoid clicking on the ads and other clutter.
For my real social networking a number of friends and I use other networks that have no cloud storage and use strong encryption for message traffic. The problem is that Facebook is popular and easy and people overlook the fact that FB is monitoring you for salable marketing data.
The video here is an interesting and concise statement on Facebook: “Why Mark Zuckerberg is Bad for the Human Race.” It’s only 3 minutes long.

“I should also add that nothing is private no matter what Facebook tells you,.’
No, and that’s why only fools put all their personal info out there.
Nevertheless, it is an AWESOME way to get the truth out about the lying liberals (via posting conservative articles and comments).
It is a GREAT counterpunch to the lying leftist media.
I suspect this may be a move to “change” that prior to the 2012 elections.
You can control that with groups. Of course at my age most of my friends are current and past co-workers (including bosses) any way, so all my parties are “mismatched”.
I don’t like the new setup.
>>Its just a tool to me. As long as it retains some useful aspects and allows me to talk to the people I want to talk to, Ill use it and tune out the dross.<<
The problem is, it is Facebook who is determining which of your friends you hear from, and which friends are “uninteresting” to you.
“I don’t get Facebook at all”
Me neither. To me it’s basically just the “CB radio” of the new millenium.
I must still be anonymous. Tons of posts returned, but not a single one from me or about me.
I had no idea how intolerant of my views some of my friends were until I started responding to their posts.
Haha, exactly.
Look at all the hostile feedback on Facebook’s own blog.
Whether or not people “get” Facebook, millions DO, and this was a STUPID business move.
I typed my last name into that website and all I got was a bunch of people I didn’t know misspelling a common word the same as my last name!
Reason number 73 why I’ve built a wall between myself and Facebook.
Facebook: You can sign up but you can never leave.
I don’t show up at all, common last names are nice, even my phone number is anonymous while being listed.
