Images from sources that have submitted formal copyright complaints to FR are not allowed. Some sources allow excerpts of text, others do not allow them at all. Articles of fewer than 600 words must be manually-excerpted to 50% of content.

That's it, in a nutshell.

Please understand I am not trying to argue the point, but trying to understand it.

On the list:

Farther down it states:
Also, do not post images from Corbis or Getty.

I have also read elsewhere by either Jim Robinson or Admin Moderator that AP photos are not allowed.

But do you mean that no images are allowed from any source on the excerpt list? That seems to be a change from past policy.
