reasonable post must be something wrong with you..lol..didn’t you get the memo

"Reasonable" is the highest compliment I could want, thank you!

Maybe it's because I'm middle-aged. I have often said most of my problems with Palin stem from her fans.

I recall how much we loathed the cult of personality around Palin, and it seems many people actually were just jealous, and wanted that very kind of emotional involvement the Obama crowds grooved in.

Palin is a politician. I don't get emotionally wrapped up in pols, don't overlook flaws in people who see things as I do, and don't think the requirements for becoming president should be watered down just because someone so completely unprepared for the job as Obama got in on the other side.

I come from a time when I could criticize a presidential candidate extensively and STILL vote for them--and people didn't think there was anything odd about that.

These are politicians, not friends.

This method of choosing support for a potential candidate has never made sense to me.

It makes absolutely no sense.

When Ann Coulter started using this line, it cemented my impression that she is completely gone.
