Yep, my husband even said she sounded much better, and he hasn’t been a fan....he sounded interested tonight.

She's what... in her 40s? Maybe 50? I don't know her age but you cannot teach an old dog new tricks when it comes to something as natural as the voice.

Others have done it at her age. One of Margaret Thatcher's unusual accomplishments was retraining her voice. Apparently, she once had an accent that was a real deal breaker for a politician, but overcame it through voice training.

I also think she looks tired and thin.

Yeah, I'd like to see Sarah gain a few pounds back. She looks awful thin to me.

Getting ready for the local campaign food stop at every turn... ;) She’ll pack on a few pretty quick I would figure.

I heard Rush talk about this ultimate paradox.

The "pundits" all say she should not run because of her negatives, then they turn around and say she is best when she throws her support (with all those negatives) to another candidate.

He nailed the stupidity of half the anti-Palin posters here in less than thirty seconds.

Screen captures are hard to tell how anyone looks regarding any emotion. It could be a split second of a change of discussion.

You do realize that ALL the media follow her on twitter and friend her on FB... I follow her and am her friend on FB, but I ALWAYS see her FB/Twitter posts via other places before I see it on the Social networks. It goes viral that fast. Many times, it’s liberals telling me “Palin said this or that” before I’ve had a chance to see it myself. And why the heck should she give MSNBC or any other alphabet networks any smidgen of her time after how they’ve done her. She is taking her message straight to the people, without their filter. AND liberal watch fox too.... they’re always telling me word for word what said on there and calling me a Fox parrot.... yet they know waaaaaaaayyyy more about what is said on Fox than I do....

First of all, I am a SERIOUS Palin supporter who thinks she is the only one with the spine and grit to do the job that needs doing! BUT.....At a point approx. 2/3 through the interview, Sean asked her an indirect sideways question that hinted at inquiring whether she intends to run. She started off with a surprising/slightly disappointing barrage of non-answer psychobabble.....slowly swerved into several sentences that sounded an awful lot like she HAS decided and intends to run because she doesn’t think anyone else has the moxie to make the necessary changes.....but ended up by drifting off again and sounding non-commital again.

(I think at least part of the reason for that kind of an aswer is that there are only so many ways to say that you have not yet decided; or at least are not ready to ANNOUNCE your decision). And Sean did not push her on any aspect of her non-answer. I guess I must take MY OWN advice: Hide and watch!

You might be right about that. Everyone wants the candidate to taste their homemade pie, I guess.

I watched the entire interview with the sound off. She looked that sad in MOST of it. See for yourselves.

It came out when she promised Hannity that there were going to be some things that upset the apple cart.

Oh darn, I miseed it! Did she really say that?

That’s not Conservatism, that’s Establishment (don’t rock the boat).

Conservatism is all about thinking outside the box.

Plus, if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten. 100 years of Progressivism......something’s gotta change.

Hopefully she’s talked to Ailes about her presentation skills.

She's not going to be talking to Ailes about anything except ending her Fox contract....he's been a close buddy of McGinniss for 44 years.

Those Facebook posts and tweets can be spread around to liberals.

And that's a very good thing to be doing. To independents and democrats.

But Obama's going to be scaring the seniors and they don't use the internet. They still watch cBS news, read the local papers and probably CNN and MSNBC.

Seniors will vote with their pocketbooks. We need them on our side. We need independents. We even need democrats to vote for our candidate. But we need our candidate to be conservative like Sarah Palin is.

Think Palin has time?

Successful: October 2, 1991 - Arkansas Governor William Jefferson Clinton announces that he will run for president.

Unsuccessful: January 20, 2007 - Sen. Hillary Clinton jumped into the fray as a 2008 presidential candidate with the words “I’m in”

Timing is not everything however Hillary came in with 2 years still to go before inauguration and could not pull it off, yet Barack prevailed by announcing just a month later. The timing of announcement is really a mute point once the race gets underway.

What is important on the national stage is name recognition, press coverage and the ability to get your message out. On those front’s Palin excels.

Palin has essentially been building name recognition (through both favorable and unfavorable press and activities) since her selection as VP. This is typically a huge hurdle and one that takes time and money for candidates running on the national stage. Palin does not need that time. Obama blazed the way for raising money through millions of small donations, showing how it could be done, so money raising is not an issue. Most candidates have to get in and announce just so that the press will talk to them and so they can make their views and opinions known. Palin just has to jump in her bus, wander through a state fair and she has more press than all the other candidates combined.

I would agree with those that say that it was different back then (i.e. Reagan) and that it is not done that way anymore. Social media and the internet have changed the game and we are watching it unfold before our eyes. History in the making is hard to see when it is happening :)
