Sophistry.

Conservatism is pure fidelity to the law—law to the letter for gooder or better—we are a nation of laws not men.
If you are rationalizing The Governor of Texas flouting immigration laws, even with the approval of the Texas legislature, than you cannot call him, them or yourself true conservatives.True Americans of the Founders either enforce or repeal laws—there is no third way.

Bank robbery is against federal law, would it be FINE to legislate non assistance with the FBI in capturing the perpetrators using “states rights?”

If everybody in Texas wants to kow tow to illegal aliens that's fine by me as well—just don't EVER call yourselves conservatives.

Obfuscating the issue with a convoluted post will get you nowhere.

There was nothing deceptive about my post. I gave you the facts. You didn't like the facts. Too bad. The issue of in-state tuition is a states rights issue. Period. The Texas legislature passed it. End of story.

Here in Colorado, in-state tuition was voted down earlier this year. I would not support it. If I lived in Texas I might support it.

As Perry explained this keeps those children of illegals off state welfare rolls and makes then better contributors to Texas society and not just taking handouts in the underground economy.

Fact. Deportation of illegal teenagers from Texas back to Mexico is not going to happen. This is a long term problem. It will not be solved overnight. Securing the borders and stopping illegal border crossings will start to rectify the problem.
