Romney too.
The rest fading back.

Hopefully Perry continues his steady gains and Romney finds a wall to hit.

Perry picking up support. Romney too. The rest fading back. Hopefully Perry continues his steady gains and Romney finds a wall to hit.
The wall is going to come in the form of actual state voting -- caucus and primary.

First Iowa. If Perry wins big there, that's a big smack against the wall for Romney.

Next is NH. If Perry wins it or ties it or even just barely loses it, wow, another wall for Romney.

And then there's SC. That's a wall too thick and high for Romney to do anything but smash into.

The numbers in this poll are general numbers.

What matters is what happens in the individual states.

I strongly hope, and confidently think, that in the individual contests Romney will do worse in 2012 than he did in 2008.
