This just proves that people don't pay any attention to the candidates they support. If these numbers are correct, Obama should have been laughed out of the Democrat primaries. Hillary wouldn't stand a chance. Most of the Democrat Congress would actually have to work for a living.

Not true. The voters, feeling somewhat secure and seeing McCain as a continuation of Bush, simply repudiated Bush. It was the Chicago Machine that gave us a Cook County Democrat as President. The people were voting against war, Fed and Treasury policy and a capricious Bush with McCain as surrogate, not for Obama.

Actually, the arrogant (now beloved?) Hilary Clinton flubbed the election and got out maneuvered by the Machine. So much for the Arkansas grifters.
