Can you say, with a straight face, that Boehner has fought as hard to stop the spending as he has to stop tax hikes? Careful now, everyone is watching.
I can't analyze the energy Beohner has expended in all the different things he does. But I do know that he did hold down spending in the last 2 debt fights and he is speaking out against most of the proposals (spending) in this jobs bill. Boehner knows that spending is not going to be cut dramatically until we get the Senate and WH. He will never be able to do it with just one chamber. That's just facts.
