To be forced to pass a law that defending human life over an animal attack is ok speaks volumes about how twisted society has become. It’s almost too much too steeped in lunacy to grasp.

These bears are getting smarter. It is common for them to stalk hunters who leave gut piles and other leftovers from field dressing game they have shot. Sometimes, however, the hunters become the prey.

Here in So Cal, near the foothills, we hear about how the last grizzly was killed in 1909 here in town. Nobody EVER mourns; this is when it was safe for humans. Grizzlies do not share, they are not co-equal among us here on earth. They are predators and we are tasty snacks.

Jail the enviro terrorists, who enabled this bear to become a protected killer. Then, the family of the victim should sue every fish and game person and the enviro whackos who set up this attack.

Then, Idaho should have Grizzly hunts to raise money. Grizzly tags on EBay with a beginning bid of $50,000 could raise a lot of money.

A young friend will be Elk Hunting in Idaho soon with his bow, and he bought a wolf tag/stamp.

The non native and non endangered wolves in Idaho were slaughtering the baby/young elk through out Idaho and of course any farm animals they found. Fortunately, now, they can be hunted and disposed of now.

Bears are pretty good hunters themselves!

And they’re FAST!

It will be interesting to learn size and sex of the Griz.

Prayers up for the hunter and family!

Three men from Nevada were hunting bears

Some days you eat the bear...

I read that the fellow that killed the bear, shot and wounded it earlier before the attack. if that is that is true, he is in a heap of trouble.

Predators serve a valuable role in wildlife management....big predators control small predators...we are the biggest predator. When one prohibits the controlling of big predators this is what you get. Alligators are such a pest in Florida that peoples dogs are being eaten in Miami...how long before a child is taken. Still the hunting of alligators are strictly limited. Evidently at a too low rate!!!

Bears (Steven Fromholz)

Some folks say there ain’t no bears in Arkansas
Some folks never seen a bear at all
Some folks say that bears go around eating babies raw
Some folks got a bear across the hall

Some folks say that bears go around smelling bad
Others say that a bear is honey sweet
Some folks say this bear’s the best I ever had
Some folks got a bear beneath their feet

Some folks drive the bears out of the wilderness
Some to see a bear would pay a fee
Me I just bear up to my bewildered best
And some folks even see the bear in me

So meet a bear and take him out to lunch with you
And even though your friends may stop and stare
Just remember that’s a bear there in the bunch with you
And they just don’t come no better than a bear

They went looking for bears and found them. Sometimes the bear wins, not often, but sometimes.

No pity for the bear hunters here.

Just asking. Is it now legal to hunt griz? Or were they hunting black bears, and the griz came into the picture?

Saw the article today in Sandpoint. The guys were hunting black bear, shot a small Griz by mistake, and the bear ended up getting one of them. Anyone who has hunted dangerous game knows the risks, and you don’t get game a lot more dangerous than a wounded Grizzly even if that isn’t what you meant to do. RIP.
