FR has the Worst search engine in the World! I always use Google to search the forum. For instance, I put Plane Crashes Into Crowd +freerepublic and your post came out at the top.
It's just different; it's decent if you know how to use it. Just pick one word (i.e. "crashes") and do a title search by date, and it works just fine. It doesn't work well with phrases though.
