“Perry needs to stick to economic issues and not get bogged down in how to police the border.”

Policing the border is an economic issue, as well as one involving national security.

don’t we have enough unemployed USAmericans without continuing to allow the tsunami of illegals coming across our southern borders to take their jobs away?

Policing the border is an economic issue, as well as one involving national security.

It is first a Constitutional issue and the POTUS swears an oath:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion;"
