With a real president in the WH, the Sixth Fleet would be ordered to bust up such Turkish nonsense the minute it might start. Can’t be confident of what might happen now.

AS SOON AS Turner takes his seat in Congress, HE should introduce a resolution censuring Turkey for its threats and WARNING them. THAT will draw a STARK contract between Republicans and the Masquerading Marxist Muslim in the Oval Office and his party.

It would force a split in the Dems.

This is the same Turkey that had us “go around” to get into Iraq? They can shove any part of a NATO treaty where they normally shove their left hands!

Could this be our next war... with the USA on the side of it's NATO partner and against Israeli "aggression" in the eastern Med if the shooting starts and Turkey claims it is attacked?

Oh it could get a lot worse than you think. In addition to threatening Israel, Turkey has been threatening Greece and Cyprus. In response to a Greek request the Russian Navy has sent two nuclear subs and a destroyer to ensure that Greek and Cypriot oil exploration is not interfered with. We could see Russia and NATO finally go at it because of an Islamist Madman in Turkey.

Since the early nineteen nineties and the Clinton administration support for the Muslim leadership in Bosnia, Erdogan has played his Islamist games. He supported the phoney Islamic charities that worked in the Balkans. He met with Iranian principals to coordinate their activity in support of the Bosnia Islamists. He collected funds for their support. He is not now, nor was he then, a friend of the West.

Anyone know if Erdogan has made any statements about the US Air Force base at Incirlik?

During the Cold War Soviet frigates and cruisers used the sea lane rules of the road to disrupt flight and landing ops on 6th Fleet CVs.Everything they did was legal under sea law, but it was inconvenient and borderline dangerous to the flight crews and deck crews. Israel has no aviation ships, but the Turks could legally interfere with Israeli naval movements to the point of major inconvenience.I doubt Israel would fire on a Turkish vessel, except in clear self defense, just because of the NATO connection.

My guess is the Pigs in Saudi Arabia are encouraging this.

I doubt that. Although they both are opposed to Israel, the last thing that the Saudis would want is to see the Turks take a leadership position in the Arab world, a position that they want for themselves. One the advantages that the Israelis have always had is the disunity and jealousies among the Arabs. The scene in the movie Lawrence of Arabia of the disputes among the various Arab groups after they captured Damascus highlights this disunity.
