I went to a public high school where there were over a thousand students in the senior class.
It was, and remains, a VERY small school. If the student population is over 500 now, 30+ years after I graduated I would be surprised.
My husband went to public school, and while his graduating class wasn’t any where near the size of yours, it was still larger than the entire student body of the public middle school our daughter attends.
