Considering that NY City is it’s own entity; it’s not a part of the federal government, I don’t see why this is unconstitutional.

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States;

The right to keep and bear arms is an "immunity" of citizens of the United States. No state is allowed to abridge that right.

Additionally, the RKBA is fundamental to a republican form of government. The Constitution tasks the federal government with guaranteeing a republican form of government to the states.

We’re screwed if they ever get healthcare in as a constitutional amendment.

We need to amend the 14th amendment so that it protects us from the incorporation doctrine.

It’s amazing how fragile that freedom is.
