We can only wonder at the true power of the Book of Zot!, brother, for it’s ways are unknown to mere mortals such as ourselves. I could well imagine that the great tome smells the stink of troll and makes it’s prescience known, hungering for fresh carcass to feed upon, or perhaps to serve as a warning of impending electrical storms on the horizon. Who can say?.
