Looks like Sarah Palin is competing with Bachmann to be Romney’s running mate.

No one. Everyone else thinks they can win the nomination.

Nobody can refute what she said. What she said did happen. And the rest of US are suppose to forget that Tea Party is about taxation/mandates without representation.

Wonder how long it will take Perry to return his 5 grand?

What happened to all the Reagan’s 11th Commandment stuff the Palin people swore she lived by? That was the reason I was told she gladly supported Perry for his Gov reelection two years ago.

Kudos to Palin for keeping it honest. That said, Perry can survive the idiotic vaccine EO.

You know what, I think 99% of our politicians look like schmucks.

Even my beloved Demint has done it...

They get in office and write books, hell you name it—whatever to turn a dollar, reality TV, talking head...

It is like taking office or whatever gives them enough name recognition and platform to prostitute themselves and string along their constituents.

I think we need to stop this DC crap.

We need to be more accurately represented as was the original intent. There are only 435 reps for over 300 million of us.

All states need to build a roomy capital for their representatives, connected to DC for online meetings. They can set dates for a few gathering in DC, as had been the original intent. Not LIVE in DC and then visit home.

I am so tired of them all...

Looks like Governor Palin likely won't be going to the ball with Governor Rick 'Crony' Goodhair after all. So much for the Perrybot's touting Sarah's undying support for their fair haired boy during his last gubernatorial election. What Governor Palin did HERE in supporting Michele Bachmann was what made her such a darling and a conservative heroine within the ranks of the Tea Party and the real independent conservatives in America. Her voice still carries a lot of weight in this nation. The trust factor is still rather high.

Perry IMO is showing that he is not nearly as tough or conservative as his campaign handlers would have us all believe he is. I also believe we are witnessing the beginning of the end of Rick Perry's much troubled entry into the presidential race considering all the baggage he has brought into it with him. There's blood in the water now. Perry was politically wounded in last nights debate and now the shark feeding frenzy will ensue. Now it gets interesting. Oh, and good for Governor Palin, she is absolutely right to say Perry should be called out for on all these suspicious and as well credible charges being brought against him. He must be held accountable.

From Amy Siskind at The New Agenda:
The Pundits Are Wrong: Palin’s Got the Best Shot http://tinyurl.com/6jbrwxc
“Because the 2012 election will be about turnout, the Republicans need to foster high levels of voter enthusiasm and engagement. If they do not, then Obama will likely be reelected. Recall that Obama pulled over 8.5 million more votes than McCain in 2008, meaning he can lose five or six million votes and still win, if the GOP selects as un-exciting a candidate as McCain was.The GOP needs conflict and competition – not comity and civility. They need a war, not a border skirmish. The GOP needs to inject as much uncertainty into the race as possible by picking an electrifying candidate and putting more states in play. They also need someone whose message is not so extreme that they actually depress votes among those Republican-leaning Independents. They need Palin. She is adored by those aligned with the Tea Party. She brings out crowds like no one except Obama. Unlike Perry, she holds some policy positions with wide appeal (only surprising to those in the mainstream media who failed to take note of her political career and track record in Alaska). She is running in third and she has yet to even announce. Palin is also the embodiment of what my work (Jockeying for the American Presidency) found successful aspirants are in the Modern Party Era: “Those…perceived by their fellow partisans as charismatic leaders with strong ideological visions and as outsiders who would shake up Washington’s ‘insider’ (read: broken and corrupt) culture” (pg.220). Since 2008, Palin has helped remake the Republican Party. Now it’s time for the GOP to wake up and realize that she’s the only one positioned to take them to White House this cycle.”
