And that (also IMO) makes him one hell of an American patriot.

I'm in agreement that because of the baggage Newt is not, nor should he be, the GOP standard-bearer.

But, having said that, I still think he's one of the best of the best when grading Washington pols, and it truly saddens me that he's "unelectable", when the likes of Bill Clinton are still admired and revered in many, if not most, circles.
