RINO, ya don't reward those who break our laws,

Those kids didn't break the laws. Their parents did. And their parents broke the law because the Federal Government has refused to enforce it.

What do you propose we do with these kids after they graduate from High School having never lived a minute in another country? Deport them to a country they have never known?

I'm sorry but my Christianity compels me to have some semblance of mercey, especially on the innocent.

BTW I dare say that none of the current crop of candidates would say that these children who were brought here through no fault of their own should be treated as criminals. Not Perry, Not Palin, not anybody.

FWIW, of all the candidates on the stage tonight, Perry KEPT the Hispanic vote.

The others who responded all sounded like haters.

If you were to ask me who did the text-book best in the debate tonight, I'd have to say Newt Gingrich. Gingrich is actually very good. Damn his stupidity with women. I also think Hermann Cain really helped himself tonight. And he CLEARLY curried favor with Perry by praising Galveston.

Perry absolutely held his own on social security, and might have gotten the best of it. On Gardasil he was properly repentant. On illegals he was properly stubborn.

On the fence he was right: boots on the ground with high tech and air monitoring with some areas have a fence when it made sense. That clearly was the best answer in terms of effectiveness, AND he properly pointed out that Texas could not do that alone...that the national gov't is constitutionally charged with that responsibility.

Romney wasn't bad and wasn't good. He didn't wow me at all. He was sort of bland, actually.

So, you would be okay if your child was denied admission to the school of their dreams because these kids are taking up the slots? BTW - they will also get in on relaxed admission standards for the sake of "diversity." That is just not right no matter how you cut it. You wonder why these kids should be "treated like criminals" -- what about OUR kids who might not be even getting into these schools because we tolerate this?
