That is true. Perry wasn’t good on that answer. He was absolutely correct, it’s absurd to accuse him of being bribed into the Gardisil decision. It wouldn’t matter how much money it was, it’s an insulting thing to accuse someone of without any evidence.
And she didn’t even accuse him directly of it, she took the coward’s way out, making the insinuation, leading people to the conclusion, but without having to take responsibility for the charge.
But he could have just said that if she wanted to accuse him of taking a bribe, she should just come out and say it, and show evidence of it.
IMHO, it was an act of desperation by Bachmann and she went all-in with Greta repeating this accusation of bribery. Absurd is a good word for it. Not Presidential.
