We are not at all anything like the way we are portrayed by the media, Or by certain Presidents who bitterly cling to stereotypes.

Sounds like they are trying to push the "moderates" on us again.
Had enough of that, thanks, and don't need any more capitulators in DeeCee.

(Vote the B@stards Out!)
If they didn't vote tooth and nail against the current mess when they had a chance, it's time for a Conservative in their seat.

Colorado, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. Depending on where the writer visited this list, it is easy to understand them misunderstanding the mood of the country. Aspen isn't exactly known as a hotbed of Conservatism, hardly 'token flyover country', and everywhere else is well East of the Mississippi.

Steve McMahon, a Democrat who runs the Purple Strategies consulting firm funny...whenever Steve is on MSNBC, he never appears to be in a compromising mood nor does he ever insist that the MSNBC hosts compromise.

That is true, which indicates to me the writer had a template and went out of their way to find interviewees to meet it.
