No, that’s not quite how it works. Of course they don’t make sh*t. They confiscate some folks’ sh*t and redistribute it (minus a percentage for their efforts, of course) to other folks they assume will admire them for it. That’s called “spreading the wealth,” and it’s how they get re-elected.
They can’t (redistribute) steal what we don’t produce. Simple. Elegant.
