The Left is quite unaware of how many Unknown Unknowns that are waiting out there to get them.
To be sure, there will be other attacks in this country. The left is obsessed with the belief that Muslims can be trusted and that we need fear only the radical ones. Assume, for the moment, that Islam will succeed (or come close) in this country (they have all but succeeded in central Europe). Suppose that, at some point, they do succeed in obtaining a political plurality or are on the verge of it in this country. I wonder if the left has any notion that the formerly "peaceful" Muslims might align with the radicals to avoid having their heads removed.
Ain't that the truth. Unintended consequences rain down like pianos on everything the Left does because the Left never accounts for the Unknown Unknowns.
I’m afraid the left doesn’t even acknowledge the existence of Known Unknowns, much less Unknown Unknowns.
