Comes is the analog of Jimmy Carter - goofy, incompetent with a head full of incorrect facts.
Beckel is more like Obama - arrogant, bitter and seething with hate.
Beckel or Colmes ?
For me, the edge goes to Colmes. They are both ignorant and un-educable, but you can tell when Beckel really doesn’t believe what he is spouting. He has a sense of humor. Colmes is juvenile and a Jonestown Kool-Aider to the max.
Eddie Haskell would hate Colmes. Colmes is just smarmy and nauseating. Nor have I ever heard him say anything incisive, clever or interesting.
How about the un-Five: Beckel, Colmes, Bill Press, Nina Totenberg, and Ariana Huffington - and on the sub bench Carville, Begalla, Katrina vandenHeuvel and Mika Brezinski ( just for the eye rolls and condescending smirks).
