OK, WHY would Palin even consider going "third party"? Does that mean she'll go for the Republican nomination and then if she fails at getting the nomination, she will run as "third party", or would she just not even try to get the Republican nomination but simply start a "third party", on her own?>

Palin isn’t going 3rd party. This is pure fantasy by some of her supporters. Palin has never given the slightest indication she’s anything but a committed conservative Republican.
