Thanks so much for posting this Ken. I have her book, “Hell To Pay” and I remember watching her on the old Bill Maher night time show. She was the ‘bright spot’.
When 9/11 happened I sat watching, in shock, like everyone else. It was when I heard that Barbara was on the plane that crashed into the Pentagon that I cried.
IIRC..Maher left her seat empty for several weeks...good for him...but can’t believe he’d be decent enough to do something like that now..
See my post 45..It was when I finally cried, too.
I felt like I had bricks piled on my chest but could not cry til I saw Barbara pictured on the screen.
Potlatch, I was going to post a reply to this thread. You got to it first, word for word. That’s exactly what I experienced. I still have her books, and think of her as the person I “lost” on 9/11.
