Power outage puts Calif. nuclear plant offline
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif.—The San Onofre nuclear power plant in Southern California has shut down because of a massive power outage that's affecting millions in California, Arizona and Mexico.
Gee, too bad it wasn’t Washington DC and knocked Obummer off the air ......
They used the word *Severed* from the transmission line in Arizona.
I’d guess sites like the WH and Capitol have plenty of backup gen capacity on site.
Crap. If I got stuck indefinitely in an elevator, I’d shoot myself. Especially after my daughter made me watch “Devil” with her.
They are now reporting that SDGE states this is coming from the Power Plant in Arizona...Between Phoenix and Yuma, they are showing that Plant on T.V now....

SCE'S San Onofre nuclear plant trips Thursday
The shutdown was proceeding safely and off-site power was available to power San Onofre's safety systems.

Are they saying what’s going on with that power plant? Is it a nuclear plant or conventional?
No sympathy for the state that re-elected Pelosi.

And so California gets another taste of consequences of expecting your neighbors to provide your power while claiming themselves green.
