Why would she need to tell untruths while down on the blanket? I hope this is a babblefish translation or something. That particular solipsism is pretty elemental, even for people who normally confuse lie and lay.

Silly concept, that “security blanket”. What it really is is a vanity blanket, designed to prevent the clothing from being dirtied from laying on the ground during an attack by teh Palisimians.

A real security blanket would be made of kevlar and would be useful in stopping small bits of Palisimian rockets flying around after impact/detonation.

Such a blanket would also slow penetration of larger pieces and thus prevent possible blood loss if it kept the injury shallow instead of being a deep wound.

A simple kevlar ‘sleeping bag’ with a bottom could also be produced to keep the user from direct contact with the dirt/street, whatever.
