Yes, he did, and I was proud of him in that moment, possibly his best moment of the night. Perry needs a debate coach badly, and I knew he would. I wish he’d let me coach him.

Yes, he did fine, but he needs to get better. What he said was usually good, he was being very careful choosing his words. I suspect the fires this week changed their schedule this week. I hope to see a step in the right direction in the next one. He din’t do anything to hurt himself, and didn’t leave any damaging soundbites. The media will run with the applause line on the death penalty as a way to try to attack him. That’s all they have.

Perry would of shinned in the forum they had the other day, but he bailed because of the fires and instead had to deal with THIS bs debate.

He should of attended the forum and blown off this with the fire excuse, if he had the race would be over. Instead he just handed Romney a life preserver.

Perry will still be in the lead, but after this I expect Mit to be much closer in the polls.
