Sad part is anyone under 55 isn’t likely going to see Social Security benefits.

I’m 42 and I KNOW I won’t see it and I remember in all the way back in college talking about it.

I doubt Perry’s going to offend anyone under 50.

I don’t think we should try to fix everything the government does.

I agree with Huntsmann — why did we spend an hour in this debate, and we haven’t discussed our economy going to hell, our debt out of control, or unemployment at near double-digit levels.

But rather than discuss jobs or the economy, now they are asking about Texas education, as if that has anything to do with being President.

You and I are the same age. I'm 42 and I too can remember talking about not seeing social security when I was back in college. I mean I talk about not seeing it now...but I forgot that me an my buddies used to talk about that WAAAAY back then.

Dick Morris and the like need to stop tweeting against people who tell the truth about the issues and start supporting them. That's what's wrong with this country: People are afraid to tell the truth because it might damage them "politically."

right you are Vulcan...No one under 50 offended by Perry remark that SS is in need of fixing.. I'm almost 70 and I know it needs change..my two adult children pay outrageous amounts to SS and they both know they will never see a return at this rate, so they feel they are contributing to their parents monthly checks and we thanks them every month a check arrives. we also invested in a 401 and other savings as we know it may not last our life time either.. when you are old you don't need a lot...'things' mean nothing as you age.. life is short...don't forget to smell the flowers on your way...♥
