Wow—he’s treading on thin ice now. I agree about SS, but he’s not going to win any votes with that stance.

Perry will win younger voters with his stand. Talk to any 20 year old, and you will hear their anger over their having to pay for it when it won't even be around for them.
And these younger voters do vote more than they used to, and they are more conservative these days too.
Perry will WIN votes over his SS stand.
All he or anyone needs to do is explain how a ponzi scheme works and that SS is funded in the same way, how the only way it will survive at all is to reform it, AND that the current elderly recipients (or those about to collect it) would NOT be touched.
